Meet Your New Foot Doctor
Dr. Elizabeth Klawitter is originally from the Omaha area and has been involved in podiatry her entire life. Her father, Dr. Paul Klawitter, was a well-known podiatrist in the Omaha area for over 33 years. He specialized in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Klawitter worked for her father for ten years before going to podiatry school.
Dr. Klawitter went to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine in June 1999. She completed her two-year residency in Grand Blanc, Michigan, at the Genesys Regional Medical Center from 1999-2001, where she was chief resident in her second year.
