Dr. Elizabeth Klawitter is originally from the Omaha area and has been around podiatry her entire life. Her father, Dr. Paul Klawitter, was a well known podiatrist in the Omaha area for over 33 years. He specialized in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Klawitter worked for her father for 10 years before going to podiatry school.
Dr. Klawitter went to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine in June, 1999. She completed her two year residency in Grand Blanc, Michigan at the Genesys Regional Medical Center from 1999-2001 where she was chief resident her second year.
She is currently on staff at Advanced Surgical Center, OSC, UNMC, and Boystown National Research Hospital and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Better Business Bureau. She has also been featured in LifeZette online. (pdf format of article)
